The role:

The finance team at Budweiser Brewing Group plays a vital role in supporting the entire business, and assessing financial implications of key strategic decisions and growth opportunities. As a Finance Manager based in London, you will engage with various aspects of the company, from manufacturing processes to analyzing the reporting treatment of marketing campaigns and contributing to automation projects. The primary focus of the role is to deliver timely and accurate financial statutory accounts, provide support during external audits, and assist management in making informed decisions. This position promises a broad range of experiences, knowledge, and growth opportunities.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Prepare accurate and timely statutory accounts for the United Kingdom, Ireland, and Spain

  • Serve as the primary contact for external auditors, leading support efforts and acting as a subject matter expert.

  • Ensure financial monthly closing adheres to finance policies and standards.

  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives in finance, focusing on reporting and control enhancements.

  • Act as a gatekeeper for company policies and ensure financial compliance.

  • Review financial reconciliations and perform analytical reviews of Financial Reporting packages.

  • Build an effective collaboration network with various business streams for financial reporting and control.

  • Play a key role in ABI Group Reporting and contribute to ad hoc projects as per stakeholder requirements.

  • Provide necessary assessments to support management in making informed decisions.

 

Who we’re looking for:

  • 3+ years of experience in statutory accounts preparation and financial audit support.

  • ACCA/ACA qualified accountant with strong technical knowledge of IFRS.

  • Proficient in month-end close and functional reporting; experience in ERP (SAP) environment is advantageous.

  • Knowledge of change management in Finance is a plus.

  • Highly numerate and logical thinker with a problem-solving attitude.

  • Adaptable to new situations, demonstrating flexibility in a fast-paced environment.

  • Independent worker with a proactive 'can do' and resolution-based attitude.

  • Effective communication skills, both oral and written.

  • Excellent Microsoft Office skills; Power BI, SQL, and Case Ware skills are advantageous.
