What is the Opportunity?

This is a chance for an enthusiastic professional with the capability, appetite and skills to operate effectively across all levels within the Group. Reporting directly to the Liquidity Reporting Manager, you will support the Cashflow Return team in the production of Regulatory Cashflow Reporting. The Cashflow Return Team deliver key liquidity reports, including the Additional Liquidity Monitoring Metric (ALMM) and Liquidity Coverage Ratio (LCR), to the CBI and UK PRA within a controlled process.

This is a hybrid role and can be done anywhere in the Republic of Ireland with the primary office location as Dublin. Travel will be required for in-person collaboration and customer meetings - exact frequency to be agreed with line manager.

In this role you will:

  • Delivery of assigned Liquidity Reporting Product processes within agreed timelines that support the delivery of the following returns: Liquidity Coverage Ratio (LCR); Additional Monitoring Metrics (AMM) & Weekly SLT;
  • Maintain and enhance the existing strong governance framework to ensure full compliance with all controls, limits, standards and obligations under Group policies: (i.e. 4 eye control, reconciliations, EUC's):
  • Develop a detailed understanding and working knowledge of all Liquidity Reporting processes and all Liquidity Regulatory returns.
  • Lead the preparation and presentation of Regulatory returns and supporting analysis to Liquidity partners;
  • Work collaboratively with the wider RRCO team to consistently deliver solution based approaches which support the achievement of business objectives (timely accurate reporting of Regulatory returns within a high control environment);
  • Maintain relationships with key partners, including Group Treasury, BoI Global Markets, BoI (UK) Plc etc. to ensure awareness of funding strategies and/or initiatives for liquidity reporting purposes.
  • Initiate Liquidity Reporting operational improvement and support wider RRCO/Group Finance/Group Treasury strategic projects and ad-hoc Regulatory requests.

What will make you stand out

Ideally you will have Regulatory Reporting/Treasury Reporting experience within a Banking environment along with understanding of liquidity management, collateral management, Basel III/CRD/LCR DA and the wider regulatory environment.

Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (particularly Excel) and Strong data manipulation & analysis is a must!

We are looking for someone with strong knowledge of bank balance sheets and cashflow dynamics. In addition, ability to challenge constructively current processes and norms and provide objective insight and solutions to problems.

Essential Qualifications

Hold a relevant professional qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, etc.) or have extensive reporting experience gained through wide exposure to financial practices within a relevant business environment.

The Regulatory Reporting, Controls and Operations (RRCO) team sits within the Group Financial Control (GFC) function within Group Finance. RRCO is responsible for the delivery of a wide range of supervisory and statistical regulatory reports, for multiple licensed entities, to multiple regulators in a controlled, timely and efficient manner. It is also accountable for the delivery of non-routine regulatory requests and the development of new regulatory reporting requirements.
