The purpose of this role is to ensure that the cash flow generated through operating activities with our customers is protected, and bad debts are minimized.

Responsibilities:

  • Answering questions about the debt repayment process.
  • Providing clients with guidance in resolving their outstanding debt.
  • Monitoring the amount paid off by debtors and making sure it’s to an agreed level.
  • Making arrangements if the consumer cannot pay their balance in full and sending out reminders and account statements.
  • Responsible for the follow-up and acting accordingly to ensure that all unresolved/unpaid debts and un-allocated cash/credits on a customer's accounts receivable.
  • Responsible for performing both reactive and proactive Credit Control. Recognize "root cause" debt collection issues and perform necessary corrections.
  • Resolve simple to complex problem account workouts, weigh options vs risk and control any new exposures.
  • Taking part in resolving issues on high risk or high exposure accounts when required.
  • Provide support to the Team Manager/Supervisor.
  • Proactive in escalating to the business any customer payment issues in order to mitigate risks.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Accounting or any related Finance/Business course.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Team player and a Self Starter.
  • With 1-2 years relevant work experience.
  • Fluent in French (min. C1 level).
  • Excellent in multitasking with ability to prioritize.
