To deliver "best in class" clear credible reporting on well understood results. This is to cover weekly flashes, Period reporting, forecasting, and budgeting exercises. This data then is to shape and influence operational direction with key stakeholders.

Client Details

Our client is a large globally recognised company.


  • Production of both financial and operational management reporting as required for the site, business and customer. To include P&L statements and Balance Sheet reconciliations ensuring all accruals and prepayments are justified and are in line with the Accounting Standards
  • Preparation of data to be presented to the business and customer as required
  • Attendance and presentation as required at site, business and customer meetings
  • Preparation of Forecast, Budgets, and any supporting data requirements
  • Assist central finance in monitoring any debt relating to the site
  • Effective control of the administration function - recruit, train, and coach members of the Admin team
  • Assist in evaluation, monitoring and control of all Capital Expenditure
  • Support the leadership team in driving operational excellence, challenging the status quo
  • Assist with analysis for future business proposals
  • Acts in a manner using initiative and judgement, which will result in maximum benefit to the business and customer
  • Ensure compliance in all areas of responsibility in respect of workplace ethics, legal, environmental, security and Health and Safety.
  • Support a culture of innovation and problem solving amongst Managers and employees
  • Maintain personal and professional development to meet the changing demands of the job, participate in appropriate training activities and encourage and support staff in their development and training
  • Flexible approach to working hours to meet the demands of a 24/7 operation to ensure visibility of the Finance function.
  • Support the labour strategy by identifying flexible working options, promoting the campus solution and linking into local employment groups.


  • CIMA /ACCA /ACA- fully qualified
  • Proven experience in a similar finance management role, ideally in a logistics environment
  • Worked with open / closed book contracts
  • Exposure to building strong business relationships with both internal and external customers
  • Familiar with open book accounting
  • Leading a small team.

Job Offer

  • An attractive salary range of £55,000 - £60,000.
