You will take responsibility for overseeing a range of portfolios. This includes ongoing monitoring, reporting and evolution of existing portfolios, as well as expanding the range of portfolios available to meet clients ever growing needs.

My client are a FTSE 100 wealth management firm who currently manage around £83bn worth of client funds. They offer quality, face-to-face wealth management through a nationwide network of advisors and look to build trusting, enduring relationships with clients.
Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct performance and risk analysis on portfolios to ensure they continue to meet expectations from a quantitative and qualitative perspective
- Help evolve the portfolio construction and monitoring framework and suggest changes to portfolios when required - e.g. improving diversification of asset classes and strategies, enhancing capacity or incorporating newly launched funds
- Perform regular stress testing and carry out periodic reviews of forward looking return and risk assumptions
- Prepare clear and insightful reports for use with internal investment teams and committees, as well as support communications to our clients and the Partnership
- Work closely with the Asia business to understand client needs and help develop appropriate portfolio solutions for them
- Support Private Client team and consultants in establishing and maintaining key client relationships through the provision of bespoke portfolio proposals
- Help promote understanding of the portfolio construction process through presentations to the Partnership and assisting with the development of investment tools, such as the Portfolio App
Profile
Required Skills:
- Combine quantitative and qualitative approaches to portfolio construction and analysis
- Highly numerate and analytical with an ability to work with and maintain large data sets
- Demonstrable interest in the fund management industry and financial markets
- Proactive, flexible and innovative approach to problem solving
- Strong interpersonal, communication and presenting skills
- Highly motivated with an ability to forge relationships internally and understand the business
- Awareness of the compliance and regulatory framework
Required Technical Knowledge & Qualifications:
- Experience working within the wealth management industry analysing funds and multi-asset class portfolios
- Degree qualified, or equivalent
- Preferably attained or studying for CFA, or equivalent
Job Offer
This role will pay a competitive basic salary of up to £51,500, plus a car allowance of £6,200. You also qualify for a bonus which typically pays 10-20%
