Financial Accountant

Our client, a successful global business, is looking for a high-calibre Financial Accountant to join their Finance team. With offices located in Dublin and locations worldwide, the company is growing rapidly. Working closely with the Director of Finance, this role will be part of a high-performing team and offers broad exposure and the opportunity for the successful candidate to progress within the company, with exposure to senior stakeholders from day one. ABOUT THE ROLE: Working as part of the Finance Team, the Financial Accountant will be responsible for undertaking various aspects of the finance function including the following: Consolidation of group results each month and preparation of monthly pack for presentation to Senior stakeholders Preparation and review of detailed management accounts, budgets and forecasts Preparation of month end journals, inter-company reconciliations and consolidated accounts Co-ordinate and plan the year-end audit process and liaise with various departments throughout the process Review of profit and loss accounts and balance sheet Assistance with the preparation of the annual Group financial statements Support accounting system development and maintenance for the Group Ad-hoc tasks as required by management. ABOUT THE PERSON: Qualified accountant with 0-2 years' PQE Experience working with accounting software packages would be an advantage Strong inter-personal skills and the ability to motivate and guide other team members Well organised and good attention to detail Working across all business types, but exclusively within the accounting, finance and tax community, Barden exists to share bespoke advice, guidance and support to professionals along each step of their career journey.
