Your new role As a financial control analyst you will be challenged with a variety of technical responsibilities ranging from support of month end processes for all divisions of Pearson, preparation of balance sheets, to managing actives performed by the team, whilst ensuring performance targets are met. Financial reporting and cost accounting analysis are essential activities in day to day running of business as well as maintaining strong work relations with Finance Business Partnering team. What you'll need to succeed To secure a position in this competitive company you will need to be part qualified, working towards an accounting qualification with a number of years of relevant working experience. Knowledge of ERP systems as well as competent excel skills are desirable along with a strong track record and excellent attention to detail are ideal for career progression.
