The team is responsible for supporting the Consumer Bank 2nd Line functions across various business teams including the ever evolving Digital and Product sector. The team has an excellent reputation in the market with a leader known to support career development for the right candidate.
Key Role specifics include;
* Assessing new initiatives, new suppliers, and various other activities as part of the Operational Risk Framework.
* Advising on Digital and Product projects
* Review business risk memos (or acceptances) to ensure they have covered the appropriate matters, ensure Risk & Compliance Matrices (RCMs) have appropriate risks/ mitigants documented.
* Review business deep dive assessments, provide insights for reporting purposes and review data quality on risk profiles, incident & issue management, etc.
Skills and experience;
* 5+ Years Operational Risk advisory experience (1LOD or 2LOD)
* Credible stakeholder Management skills, the ability to talk up to senior management with the issues that matter the most not everything
* Commercial approach
* Banking experience, ideally 3-5 years
* Ability to learn quickly and a self-starter
* Ability to navigate through complex matters and provide well-rounded, sound advice
* Ability to adapt to change
* Superb interpersonal, influencing and negotiation skills.
* Relevant tertiary qualifications
