The opportunity
This is a unique opportunity for a Business Development Services Manager to join QIC's Global Clients & Marketing team on a full time open term basis in Sydney.
The Business Development Services Manager is responsible for supporting business development and relationship management activities undertaken by the Global Clients and Marketing group in relation to QIC's funds and strategies. This position is critical in providing high quality services to clients, prospects and consultants and is key to sustaining QIC's client base while also contributing to growth and diversification.
In this career defining role you will be responsible for:
Collaborating with Business Development Directors, Investment Specialists and wider Client Services teams to coordinate all business development, retention and client services activities.
Accountable for the coordination and preparation of timely and accurate responses to client queries and adhoc requests.
Responsible for coordination, preparation and sign off on deliverables to clients including presentations, briefing notes, client meeting actions and follow ups, and preparation of high quality due diligence activities.
Demonstrating leadership in the management of data and use of client insights to maintain an accurate database of all client and activity information in the Customer Relationships Management system (CRM) and client plans to leverage for client management and internal reporting.
Continuously seek ways to improve processes, drive efficiencies and increase accuracy in the deliverables, services and internal/external interactions.
Maintaining a strong knowledge of the industry, and QIC's products, strategies and clients.
The ideal candidate
The ideal candidate will have a solid track record in a similar institutional client service and business development environment coupled with an understanding and experience working in the financial services and superannuation industry.
You will also possess the following key skills and experience:
Tertiary qualifications in business/finance or equivalent industry
Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills including the ability to influence and build relationships with all levels of stakeholders
Exceptional organisational and ability to work to tight deadlines
High attention to detail, methodical and accurate
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Innovation and creativity
Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills
Ability to identify areas for greater improvement and efficiency and create, refine and embed process to better meet client needs
Experience in multi-tasking, with high degree of confidence, in a high pressure and time-sensitive environment
Applies proactive problem resolution skills with a commercial mindset
