This position is based out of TMHA’s Head Office in Moorebank. Other key aspects of the role include:- Preparation and assistance of monthly results to TMHA. Assist the Branch Manager with analysing business performance. Maintain general ledger and subsidiary ledgers. Educate and Ensure all business units adherence to TMHA Group policy. Assist Branch Manager with co-ordination, preparation and presentation of annual budgets and forecast. Assist external and internal auditors. Assist senior Finance Managers as required. Assist Tax Accountant with FBT reporting requirements Assisting Accounts payable with invoice coding where required. Day to day finance queries for branch. Preparation of branch monthly management reports. Support branch managers as required. Liaise with AP department to schedule weekly supplier payments. Assist where required with stock take. Ensure GST compliance (tax coding, e.g. input tax, non deductible) Review general ledger on weekly basis to ensure correct capture of financial information. Qualifications & Experience: Strong Previous Accounting experience in a similar role Strong financial reporting experience Sound business acumen Retail experience desired Experience in Capital Equipment business advantageous Solid ERP system experience Previous experience in indirect taxes Previous experience in cash flow Minimum 5 years’ experience in financial/accounting roles.
