An opportunity to work for a highly regarded Insurance company as a Commercial Underwriting Assistant has arisen, they are seeking an individual to support the Senior Underwriters dealing with Existing Business, Mid Term Adjustments, Processing and general support.

The Role:
· Assist in the underwriting/processing of allocated new business, renewals and endorsements accordingly.
· Provide general assistance to underwriters for broker and/or client visits and other administrative duties as agreed with Operations Team Leader.
· Liaise with brokers and internal departments for credit control, claims and risk information.
· Support the Underwriting Branch through liaison with and participation at meetings.
Requirements:
· Strong experience working within commercial insurance
· The ability to manage time, meet deadlines and prioritise
· Excellent IT, communication, organisation and negotiation skills
· Working knowledge of FSA rules and guidelines.
· Enthusiastic, team player with a positive attitude
