Harvey Nash's client, a forward thinking organisation is undergoing a huge phase of growth in their Scottish offices, are looking to recruit a highly skilled Data Analyst to join their Financial Crime Team. It is a great opportunity for a talented analyst to join a rapidly growing team at the forefront of their technical teams.
The Role:
You will be joining a successful business and helping them provide high quality data analysis and modelling used by the wider Financial Crime and Compliance Teams. You will take a lead role in the delivery and automation of business-critical projects and will support the Global Head of Platforms as well as liaising with stakeholders including, Fraud Investigators, Data Vendors and third party consultants.

You can really make an impact throughout the data analysis, acquisition and prototyping phases in order to enhance their existing data sets and structures.
About you:
* You will have very strong analytical skills coupled with excellent problem solving abilities, you'll be a highly experienced Analyst.
* The ideal candidate will have a sound understanding of Financial Crime Risk Policies as well as Financial Crime Compliance Procedures.
* Fluency in data query languages such as SQL , with past experience of working on large scale data transformation projects.
* Ideally, candidates will have Project Management experience, with excellent organisational skills.
* Qualified to degree level or equivalent commercial experience e.g Financial Services, Risk, Financial Crime, Data Modelling, Analytics.
* You will have the ability to collaborate across the business and work in cross functional teams.
* You will have excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present confidently.
* Ultimately, you will thrive in a fast paced environment and be capable of producing quality analytical results.
