Responsibility and duties:

- Lead and manage audit engagements for a wide range of clients, ensuring compliance with auditing standards and regulations. Preparing audit files, undertake audit planning and lead fieldwork to a high level. Prepare financial statements and finalise accounts under the overall supervision of Audit Manager. Primarily responsible for delivering a clean file to the Manager ready for final review. Maintaining high quality audit documentation. Working in an organised and efficient manner towards set deadlines. Coordinating with accounting and tax teams within the firm. Following the risk management policies of the firm and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards (ISAs). Develop and maintain strong client relationships, providing exceptional service and addressing their financial needs. Responsibility for mentoring junior staff in mentor groups. Review financial statements, reports, and workpapers to ensure accuracy and completeness. Identify and communicate audit findings and recommendations to clients. Stay updated on industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices in auditing. Assist in proposal development for new business opportunities and participate in business development activities. Driving remote audit process, ensuring adherence to budget.
Qualification & skills:
- ACA/ACCA qualified Strong knowledge of accounting and auditing standards, UK GAAP, and IFRS Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Proficiency in using audit software and Microsoft Office applications. Commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
