About the role

We have an excellent opportunity for Finance Business Partner to be a part of the GBS Finance team here at Kerry!

The successful candidate will be a key part of the GBS Regional Leadership team and will be responsible for Performance Management and ownership of budgets, projections and actuals to monitor performance. This person will need to be a self-starter with a broad business mindset who can work on their own initiative and as part of a team and acts with drive, determination and resilience and has an innate ability to build strong cross functional relationships and to challenge the status quo.

Key responsibilities

  • Participate in, input into, and drive strategy execution alignment across area of assigned responsibility, partnering with relevant stakeholders in delivery of the GBS strategy
  • Monitors and governs KPIs that are relevant to all functions in GBS to track performance and assess productivity
  • Manage all financial reporting and the setting of budgets for GBS America's
  • Support the interpretation of financial information and insights (forward-looking, strategic, knowledge-based insight across e.g. financial data, financial legislation, financial policies)
  • Support the GBS America's Centre in leading progress and performance against the GBS strategy.
  • Support the GBS America's Regional leadership team in informing, inputting into and steering direction on priorities.
  • Actively influence day to day decisions, contributing to strategy and the direction of GBS
  • Promote and foster a culture of Continuous Excellence practices to improve and optimize services across multifunctional processes
  • Ensure all functions are adhering to compliance, risk & control requirements through the appropriate standards and regulatory requirements
  • Lead and embed consistent and disciplined ways of working for the GBS Finance Team, working as One Finance Team
  • Improve the impact, and understanding, of financial reporting on business performance.
  • Build partnerships and maintain strong relations with all stakeholders and their teams
  • Leading control and compliance across all GBS functions and fostering an ethos of minimising risk through adherence to best practice and standard routines
  • Develop and maintain a strong network with Controllers across Kerry Group, sharing and leveraging experiences
Qualifications and skills
  • Fully Qualified Accountant with experience in GBS environment
  • 4-5  years PQE experience in industry is an advantage
  • Strong technical accounting skills with high level of attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple stakeholder expectations at one time
  • Capable of demonstrating leadership skills in previous roles
  • Ability to take ownership of ones work and priortise workload
  • Strong analytical skills- ability to proactively identify and resolve issues
  • Ability to work under pressure to ensure deadlines are met
  • Good communication skills
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Knowledge of SAP and/or BW preferable
