Job Description

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Oversee payroll operations within specific countries in the EMEA region
  • Implement and monitor payroll policies and procedures in line with regional and global guidelines
  • Manage and process complex payroll activities, such as benefits and retirement deductions, tax reporting, and compliance duties
  • Provide guidance and support to payroll managers and their teams in the region
  • Handle escalated payroll issues and provide solutions
  • Collaborate with the HR department to manage payroll-related issues
  • Assist with the development and implementation of payroll procedures and policies
  • Conduct internal audits and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal payroll regulations
  • Participate in payroll system implementations and improvements


  • 5-7 years of payroll experience with at least 3 years in a managerial role in a multinational company
  • Experience with payroll system implementations and process improvements
  • Proven track record in managing and resolving complex payroll issues
  • Demonstrated experience in policy development and implementation
  • Experience in conducting payroll audits
  • Proven track record in team management and leadership
  • Experience in collaboration with other departments, specifically HR and Finance
  • Knowledge and experience in working with regional payroll and labor laws


  • Proficiency in MS Office, Google Suite and payroll software
  • Strong numerical aptitude and attention to detail
  • Excellent leadership skills with the ability to manage and develop a team
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Good organizational and time management skill.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information confidentially
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and a strong analytical mindset


  • Degree in Finance, Business Administration, HR, or related field
  • Licenses/Certifications: Professional certification in Payroll, Finance, or HR from a recognized international institution preferred
