Associate – Global Operations

  • Custody Claims: All interest claims against State Street Corporation either presented by the underlying client or directed by their custodian bank, following State Street’s late payment in the market (back value) or an erroneous payment received and then returned by State Street (use of funds).
  • IMS (Middle office): Incoming interest claims: The counterparty/claimant has suffered an actual monetary loss due to a failed/delayed transaction with the client for which the counterparty is claiming the client an official reimbursement request for the loss. Outgoing interest claims: A demand of restitution is issued to the market counterparty(s) by SSB on behalf of IMS clients.
  • Debit Interest (Middle office): Client accounts are charged with debit interest monthly; such charges are reported to us by the Recon team. DI team posts the same charges on accounting to match the custody books.
  • CSDR (Middle office and Back office): CSDR is a settlement discipline introduced by the EU in Feb 2022, which penalizes the participants who cause settlement fails and incentivize those who settle trades in a timely manner.
  • Function as an extension of our client service model ensuring seamless service delivery across Business Operations for our clients.
  • Engage with business leads and peers, and interface with senior leaders across the organization. Builds strong internal and external relationships and ensures service quality and customer satisfaction.

Experience, Qualifications, Skills, and Abilities

  1. Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce, Finance, Management, or Information System Management.
  2. 2+ years of experience in the Financial Services Industry. Depending upon the role. Experience in trade capture/settlement, SWIFT massages, telephonic interaction experience with brokers/custodians, etc. is helpful.
  3. Strong time management and organizational skills; Ability to multitask in a challenging environment.
  4. Applications: Experience working on MCH, Kingfield, RKS, etc. is an added advantage.
  5. Strong written and oral communication skills.
  6. Excellent interpersonal, communication, facilitation, presentation, and negotiation skills
  7. Shift timings: Multiple Shifts starting from 5 am to 4 pm
