Senior Finance Manager, Fintech [Retail Banking Preferred]

- Conduct thorough reviews of business contracts and offer expert accounting and financial guidance to senior management, ensuring alignment with the group's business strategies.
* Address complex accounting issues and provide valuable insights and direction to the finance teams within the business units.
* Provide support to senior management on various strategic initiatives, including investment decisions, fundraising activities, mergers and acquisitions, financial due diligence, as well as treasury and risk management.
* Actively participate in the group's tax planning and compliance efforts, ensuring adherence to relevant regulations.
* Continuously evaluate and enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of the financial reporting process, implementing improvements where necessary.
* Ensure strict compliance with corporate policies, guidelines, and regulatory requirements, minimizing risks and promoting a culture of ethical and responsible financial practices.
* Serve as a liaison with external parties such as bankers, auditors, legal advisors, and tax consultants on relevant projects and initiatives.
* Undertake ad hoc projects and assignments as required, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability to contribute to the overall success of the finance function.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Professional certifications such as CPA or ACCA are preferred.
* Extensive experience in accounting, financial analysis, and advisory roles, with a focus on providing guidance to senior management.
* Strong knowledge of relevant accounting standards, regulations, and tax laws.
* Demonstrated ability to support strategic initiatives, including investment analysis, fundraising, and mergers and acquisitions.
* Proficiency in financial reporting processes and systems, with a keen eye for process improvement opportunities.
* Excellent understanding of corporate governance principles and the ability to ensure compliance with policies and regulations.
* Proven ability to collaborate effectively with external stakeholders, including auditors, legal teams, and tax advisors.
* Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle complex and challenging assignments.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present financial information clearly and effectively to stakeholders at all levels.
* Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment..
