Group Tax is part of the Financial Services division and is responsible for managing the taxation affairs of the Group ensuring that all tax obligations under the law are met in a timely manner.

The Tax Compliance and Reporting team within Group Tax is responsible for all tax lodgements, tax reporting obligations (Tax Transparency, Profit Announcement and Annual Reports).

In this role you would be:

  • Contributing to the tax compliance and reporting obligations/activities of the Group, including Tax Transparency, Profit Announcement and Annual Reports;
  • Improvement of processes including implementing new tax technology solutions;
  • Developing tax awareness and risk management within the Group;
  • Sharing technical skills and knowledge amongst your team.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Preparation and lodgement of income tax returns;
  • Preparation of tax balances for Profit Announcement and Annual Reports;
  • Preparation of tax reporting, including Tax Transparency and Pillar 2;
  • Support business units with tax-related inquiries, offering expert tax guidance and collaboration;
  • Improvement of processes including implementing new tax technology solutions;
  • Developing tax awareness and risk management within the Group;
  • Sharing technical skills and knowledge amongst your team.

We’re interested in hearing from people who have:

  • Minimum 3 years experience gained in chartered accounting or corporate tax division
  • Strong analytical skills, with demonstrated ability to draw insights from analysis
  • Attention to detail and quality
  • Innovative and able to drive results
  • Excellent verbal, written communication skills and critical thinking skills
  • A member of the Tax Institute or Professional accounting body (e.g. CA/CPA) will be highly regarded
