We have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team as an Audit Senior. Reporting to the Audit Director, this full-time and permanent position is based in our Reading office in the UK. It would suit an experienced Audit Senior with experience of external audit and involves working within the existing team to undertake statutory audits for typically internationally focused companies largely operating in the technology sector.
To undertake audits under UK GAAP and IFRS To undertake the planning on an audit To draft accounts for manager review To take responsibility for the audit process and ensure all testing is done to a high standard To be involved in formal and on the job training for team members To be prepared to travel to clients in the UK and occasionally overseas
Attributes/ Technical Skills
The person concerned will have the following attributes and abilities.
Enthusiastic and driven to improve themselves Keen to progress within a professional environment Significant amount of audit experience in their career to date Technically excellent Experience of training staff Capable of motivating and encouraging a team Has a can-do attitude and hands on approach Flexible and adaptable
To be undertaking (or have completed) a formal accountancy qualification with experience within a UK based professional practice undertaking external audit. The successful applicant will have at least 30 months experience and will have been involved in the planning and completion of audits,
Education and Professional Qualification
ACA or ACCA qualified or close to qualification
25 days per annum (full-time equivalent, pro-rated for part-time)
