Qualification: We are looking for ACCA Finalists/Affiliates/Members, M.Com and B.Com graduates to join our team

Experience: Min. 2 years’ experience in UK based accounting, must have good knowledge of bookkeeping, accounts management and taxation
 

Responsibilities

- Account Management: Manage a portfolio of clients and oversee their financial accounts. Monitor financial activities, review financial statements, and ensure statutory compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations.

This includes, but is not limited to:

For UK Limited Companies:

1. VAT Returns – Information request, client correspondence, query emails, final review, filing to HMRC
2. Annual Accounts & Corporation Tax Returns – Information request, client correspondence, query emails, working papers drafting, final review, submission to Companies House & filing to HMRC
3. Bookkeeping – Weekly reconciliations, monthly management accounts etc.
4. Payroll – Payroll processing, pensions contributions, knowledge of HMRC rates & benefits, meeting payroll deadlines, filing to HMRC

For UK individuals:

1. Self-Assessment Returns – Information request, client correspondence, query emails, working papers drafting, posting on TaxCalc, final review, filing to HMRC

- Financial Analysis and Reporting: Analyze financial data and prepare reports to provide insights and recommendations to clients. Help clients understand their financial performance, identify areas for improvement, and develop strategies to achieve their financial goals.

- Team Management: A Senior Accountant should also be responsible for leading a team of accountants or client service professionals. Provide guidance, support, and mentorship to team members, ensuring their professional growth and development.

- Industry Knowledge and Compliance: Stay updated on the latest accounting standards, regulations, and industry trends. Advise clients on changes that may impact their financial operations and ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.

- Other related tasks

Note: Renumeration package shall be dependant upon relevant experience. We need more than just an Accountant. We need an employee that has the capacity to develop themselves and our business together.
