Our client is a renowned global insurance broker. This is a newly added headcount to the Finance team in Singapore, where you will work directly under the leadership of the department head with a highly collaborative and supportive team.
About the job
You will manage financial reporting and accounting within the Group business, covering a range of responsibilities, including verifying invoices, creating journal entries, preparing for month-end closing, handling bank reconciliations. The role also involves the preparation of management accounts, overseeing petty cash, ensuring compliance with all regulatory and governmental requirements, managing the year-end audit process including preparing schedules, responding to auditor inquiries, reconciling inter-company transactions, and conducting analytical reviews. You will also support the annual budgeting exercise for the company.
Skills and experience required
Diploma in Accounting & Finance and/or any professional accounting qualifications, with at least 3 years of accounting/reporting experience in the insurance/insurance broking industry. In order to succeed, you should be a team player, possess strong interpersonal skills, keen attention to details, and the ability to work under tight deadlines.
