The Company

My client is a global Logistics company, with operations around the world. This company employees over 10,000 people globally, servicing a wide range of markets. This company is known for its emphasis on customer care as well as employee care, offering flexible working hours and family days.

The Role

You will act as Divisional Financial Controller, overseeing the largest division of the company. You will manage a team of 7 staff. Your main duties will be:

  • Oversight for all month-end and year-end activities
  • Assist in process improvements and projects
  • Oversee transactional and accounting staff, reviewing work
  • Complete all statutory reporting
  • Production of monthly budgets and forecasts
  • Integrating new acquisitions, through system and accounting processes

Your Profile

You will be Big 4 trained and have experience in a Controllership role. In addition you will have:

  • CA/CPA Qualification
  • Experience in Logistics would be highly regarded
  • Experience managing staff, especially in multiple locations
  • Ability to communicate with non-financial staff
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Ability to work autonomously and in a team
