Delivery Leader Locations Gurgaon, India CategoriesFinance Job Description The Global Treasury Controllership (GTC) team is part the Global Controllership Organization and is responsible for providing comprehensive Treasury services covering cash, debt, equity, derivative, investment, Basel, middle office, and valuation. The team is located in the United States, Mexico, and India. The India Middle Office team is a key component of GTC, primarily responsible for covering EMEA and JAPA middle office functions and well as Global FX exposure identification. This role of Senior Delivery Leader for Trade support, works closely with Global Cash management teams, Balance Sheet Management, Controllership, LFOs, and the broader Treasury team to provide superior customer service and transaction level support. In addition, the he/she is involved in ad-hoc GTC projects working closely with the Global Treasury and other controllership teams. Responsibilities Main Responsibilities Lead a team responsible for Capture the Companys global FX transactions executed by Treasury Confirm transactions with external/internal counterparties Provide Trade settlement support Accounting for FX transactions and support wider controller queries around FX accounting and reporting Support Volcker Rule compliance on FX Trading activities Participate in Sarbanes-Oxley controls optimization efforts Balance sheet account attestations Maintain effective communication with AXP Treasury and Controllership clients Support ongoing GTC projects This role may be subject to additional background verification checks. Qualifications Experience and Skills Requested Proven leadership experience managing 3-6 member team Strong collaborative and relationship building skills AND proven ability to effectively influence senior finance and business stakeholders Strong will to win; a self starter, effective in working independently Experience assessing operational risks and designing controls to mitigate risks Strategic thinker with demonstrated ability to lead global change management initiatives Ability to manage time and effectively prioritize multiple tasks under tight deadlines Good understanding of Foreign Exchange financial instruments Familiarity with US GAAP reporting requirements Attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining and improving a strong control environment Accounting degree or equivalent Profession certification (ACCA, CMA, CPA) plus Language English ReqID 17010880 Schedule (Full-Time/Part-Time) Full-time
