About the Role
This role will be responsible for managing and overseeing compensation accounting and tax reporting for AIA Group Office. Manage and oversee compensation accounting and tax reporting for mobile employees (i.e., business assignees and project secondee) and business travelers for Group Office. Work closely with tax service provider to ensure tax documents for mobile employees and business travelers are completed accurately and timely and compliance with relevant regulatory requirements. Ensure strict adherence to AIA policies, procedures, and guidelines

About the Role
This role will be responsible for managing and overseeing compensation accounting and tax reporting for AIA Group Office. Manage and oversee compensation accounting and tax reporting for mobile employees (i.e., business assignees and project secondee) and business travelers for Group Office. Work closely with tax service provider to ensure tax documents for mobile employees and business travelers are completed accurately and timely and compliance with relevant regulatory requirements. Ensure strict adherence to AIA policies, procedures, and guidelines
Roles and Responsibilities:
- To be the key contact with Finance Department on compensation accounting, month end closing and SAP interface
- Collaborate with Finance Department in meeting their month end closing schedules, complying with accounting policies and account mapping for general ledger entries (GL) interface
- Ensure HR related expenses, including intercompany charge-in/out and accrual are recorded timely and in compliance with Finance Department's policies and guidelines
- Review and prepare monthly and quarterly Balance Sheet accounts reconciliation and ensure adjustments are promptly made
- Work closely with Finance Department and country HR / Finance on intercompany cross charging
- Liaise with Finance Department on system enhancement to streamline process flow between HR and Finance systems
- Liaise with internal and external auditors for compensation accounting audit
- Be the key liaison with Hong Kong tax service provider, country tax service provider and country HR for providing tax services for mobile employees and business travelers of Group Office to ensure tax documents are completed accurately and timely and compliance with relevant regulatory requirements
- University graduate with major in Finance, Accounting, or related discipline
- At least 10 years of solid compensation accounting and tax experience
- Strong communication, interpersonal, analytical, problem-solving and time management skills
- Detail-oriented and must be able to work under tight deadlines, deal with difficult, sensitive and confidential issue
- Excellent skill in computer applications such as MS Office, automated payroll systems and accounting systems (e.g. SAP)
- Familiar with HK Employment Law and Tax Law
