Financial Planning & Analysis Accountant 
 
As an innovative and growing Poker / Gaming / Tech Company with ambitious plans for global expansion. Our client seeks a FP&A Accountant to help develop the finance function at this exciting time. This is a role at a pivotal time for the business and will grow along with the business. Reporting to the Financial Director the role will be very hands on. 

This is a remote working role open to applicants located in a European Timezone. 

Applicant must have Gaming Sector experience

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain financial models to support the business
• Preparation of Management accounts and profitability reports for various business segments
• Analyse and prepare reconciliations for live poker tour events
• Analyse financial data and create financial models for decision support
• Report on financial performance and prepare for regular leadership reviews
• Analyse past results, perform variance analysis, identify trends, and make recommendations for improvements
• Work closely with the accounting team to ensure accurate financial reporting and decision support
• Evaluate financial performance by comparing and analysing actual results with plans and forecasts
• Guide cost analysis process by establishing and enforcing policies and procedures
• Review commercial agreements and make recommendations
• Provide analysis of trends and forecasts and recommend actions for optimization

Key Skills & Experience:

• 2/3 year's post qualification experience in the gaming industry
• Self-motivating and able to work on own initiative
• Strategic and critical thinker
• Very good working knowledge of excel
• Experience working with accounting (Netsuite) and analysis packages (Power BI)
• Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure
• Strong communication and analytical skills
• Proficient in English, verbal and written.
