Tax Accountant / Senior Accountant (High Tech Manufacturing)

The Company

Our client is a leader within the high-tech manufacturing industry experiencing exponential growth globally. As they continue to expand their operations as well as finance capabilities, they are seeking a Tax Accountant/Senior Accountant to join their team.

The Role

Reporting to the Tax Manager, you will collaborate with the Finance and Tax members throughout the group and be responsible for ensuring compliance with statutory tax requirements and preparation of tax returns and computations.

You will oversee the preparation of periodic indirect tax returns, transfer pricing documents (local and country-to -country reporting), quarterly current tax and deferred tax provision calculations, reconciliation of deferred tax assets and liabilities, ETR analysis, validation of tax balance sheet accounts and tax provision analysis.

Last but not least, you will provide advice to internal stakeholders in relation to corporate income tax, VAT/GST, transfer pricing and withholding tax, participate in various tax projects and assist in tax queries, audits, disputes and resolutions.

Your Profile

As the successful candidate, you will possess a diploma or degree in accountancy or ACCA with the following relevant experience:

• At least 3 years of experience in indirect tax (eg. GST/VAT)
• Prior exposure in a Big 4, mid tier audit firm and/or MNC environment will be preferred
• Exposure to SAP and prior regional exposure will be ideal but not a must
• Good communication skills and ability to work with stakeholders across different functions will be key
