Our client employs approximately 10.000 people worldwide. They have sales offices in North America and Europe and sell their products to around 100 markets. In the US, our client has a market-leading position.

As an AP Specialist you will work in a shared service organization for several companies within the Group and are responsible for the workflow of handling incoming invoices and payments toward vendors. You will also contribute to periodic closing activities.

You will be based in the office nearby the Eindhoven area and join a diverse team. The Finance department is divided into the following teams: 'AR/AP, 'Record to Report, 'Business Partnering' and 'Payroll'. AR/AP is responsible for the registration, control and processing of all financial data for effective reporting and accountability of costs and revenues (various sub-administrations), as well as the periodic closing of the general ledger and the delivery of the financial part of the internal and external accountability reports including explanatory notes. All this is broken down for various business units/B.V.s.

Omschrijving

  • Handle and allocate purchase invoices on a daily basis;
  • Help ensure timely payments to creditors;
  • Handling questions and complaints from suppliers by telephone and in writing;
  • Monitoring of expiry of outstanding items;
  • Aligning financial information with internal and external parties;
  • Taking part in ensuring a correct and balanced administration;
  • Assisting with other matters of the financial administration.

  • 32-40 hours available per week;
  • At least an MBO degree in finance;
  • At least 2 years experience in a similar role;
  • Accurate and result-oriented attitude;
  • Knowledge of SAP is a plus;
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel;
  • Able to speak and write in English (in writing and speaking), Dutch is a plus.

    • Salary in between €2500-€3700 based on 40 hours per week;
    • Annual profit share of 4%;
    • 25 vacation days + 23 ATV days (48 days of leave);
    • Hybrid working (maximum of 2 days from home);
    • Holiday allowance of 8%;
    • Travel allowance of €0,19 per km;
    • Good pension plan.
