Finance Manager #857

Our partner is an international humanitarian charity. They are looking to recruit a Finance Manager; this is a newly created position within the organisation. This role is a 4 day/week role.
Responsibilities
- Ensure smooth running of the finance function. This includes overseeing the work of the Finance Assistant; managing petty cash, cash advances and bank; running the payroll and managing tax and pension contributions; and in the continuous improvement of processes and systems.
- Preparing the monthly management accounts, including BVA analysis and commentary.
- Preparing month-end financial reports, and carry out monthly balance sheet reconciliations.
- Support in the budgeting, forecasting and re-forecasting processes
- Support in the annual accounts and audit preparation.
Requirements
- Experienced accountant will all-round knowledge of financial accounting, management accounting and reporting.
- Experience working in an international organisation, with experience in treasury and international banking.
- Good communication skills – written and oral – and able to break down and succinctly present financial information to finance and non-finance staff alike.
- Strong systems skills; advanced knowledge of MSExcel.
- Well-organised, able to manage a range of tasks effectively.
The organisation offers hybrid working, with the successful candidate expected to be in the office 1-2 days a week in London.
