Our client is a well established FMCG MNC with global presence and they are currently looking for a Asia Senior Tax Specialist/Manager to join them.
About the job
Reporting to the APAC Tax Manager you will be the key in-house advisor for Asia and deliver tax advice, compliance and tax accounting services to a range of internal stakeholders. This role will be focused on direct and indirect taxes and offers the opportunity to add-value in delivering the group's ambitious growth targets. You will also be assisting in carrying out tax projects/initiations which could be local market focused, regional basis or global scale as well as assist in the setup of SOPs/improvements of processes. The ideal candidate is one who is technically strong in tax with a growth and problem solving mindset along with the ability to manage senior stakeholders.
Skills and experience required
You should possess a recognised accounting degree in Accounting or equivalent with at least 5 years of relevant tax experience while candidates with more than 8 years of experience will be considered for the Manager role. Candidates directly from Big4 tax roles are highly encouraged to apply.
