If you answered yes to these questions, then we have an exciting opportunity for you. We are looking for a Senior Manager in Internal Audit to join our Dublin Head Office and lead our team of experienced auditors.

Reporting to the Head of Internal Audit, you’ll engage with an amazing and inclusive group of colleagues and leaders, learn, and innovate, have a huge impact, and have a great time doing it. This new and exciting role is critical in the planned expansion of our business.

You are innovative, passionate, innovative and a change agent which will enable you to advance the longer-term strategic priorities whilst maintaining oversight of day-to-day activities. You will play a leading role in shaping the future of our Internal Audit practices whilst partnering closely with key stakeholders from a number of areas across our business.

This exciting position will see a suitable candidate having an integral part in deep diving into our processes and procedures, assessing performance and risk, developing actionable insights, presenting findings and working with management to support implementation to improve overall effectiveness.

About the role

As a Senior Manager in Internal Audit, you will be responsible for:

• Developing and executing the annual internal audit plan in line with the company’s strategy and risk appetite
• Leading and managing a team of internal auditors and ensuring their professional development
• Leading risk-based audits across all areas of the business, including financial, operational, compliance, IT, and sustainability
• Preparing and presenting clear, concise, and timely audit reports with recommendations for improvement
• Following up on the implementation of audit recommendations and monitoring their effectiveness
• Building strong relationships with senior management and key stakeholders across the business
• Providing assurance and advisory services on key projects and initiatives
• Supporting external auditors and regulators as required
• Keeping abreast of emerging trends and best practices in internal audit

About you

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• A professional accounting qualification (ACA/ACCA or equivalent)
• A minimum of 7 years of experience in internal audit or external audit, preferably in retail or consumer goods sectors
• A proven track record of leading audit teams and delivering high-quality audit reports
• A strong knowledge of internal audit standards, methodologies, frameworks, and tools, specifically applied to risk-based auditing.
• A sound understanding of financial reporting standards, corporate governance principles, risk management practices, and internal control systems
• Excellent communication, presentation, influencing, and stakeholder management skills
• A high level of analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills
• A flexible, adaptable, and proactive approach to work
• A willingness to travel domestically and internationally as required
