The Industry and Services Risk Consulting team primarily provide outsourced and co-sourced internal audit services, however we also provide (or support other teams with the delivery of) a range of risk-based engagements including programme health checks, board effectiveness reviews and external quality assessments, to name but a few.

The I&S Team at Mazars sits within the firms broader Advisory and Consulting Service line. The Advisory & Consulting service line is a rapidly growing, award winning, global group of successful teams working together to present a go-to-market differentiator whilst delivering the highest quality of work for our clients.

This exciting role will drive the internal audit practice for the Mazars Industry and Services (I&S) Risk Consulting sector. We have a huge opportunity to develop our footprint in this competitive market and accelerate the growth and development of our internal controls solution.

As an Assistant Manager in the Risk Consulting team, you will be responsible for delivering risk based internal audit work to a range of industry & commerce clients. You will work closely with clients and be committed to providing exceptional risk assurance services.

Having experienced significant growth, the team are looking for a motivated individual, who will have excellent opportunities for progression.

• Performance of internal audit fieldwork including closing meetings with the management team.
• Preparation of draft internal audit reports.
• Maintaining good relationships with clients.
• Assistance on other special assignments (e.g. fraud investigations, effectiveness reviews) as and when required.

• Holds either ACA, CA, ACCA, IIA or CII (or equivalent) qualification.
• Experience of delivering internal audits.
• Good understanding of technical issues in the risk assurance sector.
• Good interpersonal and client handling skills.
