Trainee accountant

A growing firm of chartered accountants based in Lincoln has a need for part qualified Accountant to join their team within a varied role providing services across accounts, tax, VAT, bookkeeping and progressing in this business with increasing responsibility, client contact and development on offer.

Based in Lincoln, this firm acts for wide ranging industry, sole traders, partnerships and limited companies, OMBs, SMEs etc into the £millions in turnover on larger clients. You will be joining a team cultured environment with support and training for those pursuing qualifications and looking to progress technically in their careers.

Description

Joining as a trainee accountant you will take responsibility for the hands on preparation of accounts, tax and wider ranging responsibilities for a mixed and varied client base of primarily limited companies, partnerships and sole traders. There will be study support on offer for those pursuing qualifications, or you can look to build on experience only. There will be increasing responsibility on offer, developing your technical accounting and potential to progress within the team and firm.

Profile

You may be part or fully AAT qualified, or you may be studying ACA/ACCA from a background of preparing accounts/tax etc within accountancy practice, working with wide ranging sole trader, partnership and limited company clients. You will have developed your career to around the trainee levels and will have a career background within accountancy practice so far and be looking to join a growing, successful firm of accountants where you can see the chance to develop your career within a forward moving firm of accountants.

Job Offer

Circa £18,000 - £24,000 dependent on the background experience and level of the right professional, plus benefits, negotiable.
