Quality is at the heart of what we do. Combining passionate people with leading technology, we work together to build trust in society. We put the team first and solve important problems by challenging the organisations we audit and being open to challenge ourselves. We take pride in our work and the profession, recognising audit as a deep specialism. It's a really exciting time to be joining us. We're growing our teams across all areas of our Audit practice and investing a huge amount in our people, their skills and the technology available, as we continue to radically modernise our business and the way we serve our clients.
Enterprises - Sustainability
PwC Sustainability is the hub for Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) services across PwC and sits at the heart of the UK ESG Platform as a critical enabler for the rest of the firm.
This is the decade for action. At PwC, our ambition is to build trust in the climate transition and help our clients create sustainable value to meet ESG goals. We help organisations transform sustainably; build the credibility of their reporting, particularly around non-financial metrics and climate reporting; develop and implement their investment strategies for the future; and support their people through a fair transition. While we also continue to make sure that our own business is ready to meet the challenge.
Working in ESG in PwC you'll maximise the opportunities to change and create value for our clients and our communities, with the care and imagination it takes to lead for the future. Together we can build good business for a stronger world.
Our goal is to help clients manage their ESG risks while also turning them into opportunity through a focus on three key pillars: Sustainability Strategy, Net Zero Transformation, and Sustainability Reporting, across three key industries: Financial Services, Government and Health, and Private Business.
Programme
Our graduate training programme is underpinned by a development framework that broadens and deepens your knowledge. You'll learn from hands-on coaching and an outstanding variety of work, picking up business, personal and technical skills you can use across the network, and throughout your career.
What you'll do
We are scaling our support for clients in tackling their ESG issues, by building deep technical experts and scaling and combining this with our broader capabilities within Risk ESG. You will help clients deliver real impact and create tangible value for the organisation. You'll do this by supporting them to make the most of the opportunities for innovation and growth created by a world economy that's becoming greener and more inclusive.
What you'll gain
During your graduate programme, you'll work on a range of internal and external projects. This includes the review and implementation of client's business processes in relation to operations, regulatory reporting requirements and commercial growth to address sustainability issues.
You'll also help to identify where clients can have the greatest impact on wider society. Whatever tasks you take on, you'll have the opportunity to both showcase and develop your skills, whilst learning more about the team and what we do. You'll also contribute to the development and delivery of the wider Sustainability proposition for the Risk line of service within PwC UK.
What you'll need
You'll need to have achieved or be on track to pass an undergraduate degree or above in any subject. We determine whether you're on course to pass based on the grades you achieved in your last completed year of academic study.
Successful candidates will be able to showcase some of the relevant skills:
If successful in being made an offer to return as an Associate with PwC, you will need to be available to commence full time employment in September 2025 .
When to apply
Once you have submitted your application you'll have seven days to complete the online test, this is the first stage of our recruitment process.
Assessment centres for this role will take place between 18 December 2023 - 26 January 2024 or 19 February - 4 March 2024 . We expect to be able to give you at least a week's notice to attend.
Applications for this role may close early should we receive a high volume of interest so we recommend prompt application to avoid disappointment.
