Quality is at the heart of what we do. Combining passionate people with leading technology, we work together to build trust in society. We put the team first and solve important problems by challenging the organisations we audit and being open to challenge ourselves. We take pride in our work and the profession, recognising audit as a deep specialism. It's a really exciting time to be joining us. We're growing our teams across all areas of our Audit practice and investing a huge amount in our people, their skills and the technology available, as we continue to radically modernise our business and the way we serve our clients.
Customer Insights
Our vision is to be the leading provider of insights to help clients solve their most important problems in the customer domain. We combine world class data science expertise with deep industry knowledge to help clients make decisions that improve customer experience, loyalty, and growth.
Examples of our Customer Insights services include:
- applying machine learning to predict the best ways to engage the appropriate customers with a promotion
- developing models and infrastructure for our clients apps, including in-app nudges to customers
- designing and building insight reporting dashboards to display customer activity
- developing solutions to help clients understand the best use of their retail space
- improving marketing effectiveness by optimising allocations between price, promotions, sponsorship, and offline and online advertising.
Programme
Our graduate training programme is underpinned by a development framework that broadens and deepens your knowledge. You'll learn from hands-on coaching and an outstanding variety of work, picking up business, personal and technical skills you can use across the network, and throughout your career.
What you'll do
During your graduate programme you'll work on a range of internal and external projects where you could:
- develop one of the component models of a recommender system to ensure customers receive the recommendations they desire
- create the content for a design workshop exploring with the client opportunities to use data and insight to better understand customer behaviours
- build a customer journey model that maps common customer pathways through a product range
- help find new retail location opportunities using data analytics.
What you'll gain
We aim to ensure that you'll gain a breadth of experience across a range of clients, technologies and capabilities across the customer data science domain. You'll work in teams where you can contribute your best work and develop your skills at every turn, learning from experienced practitioners across product, user experience, data science and engineering. There's flexibility throughout the work we do, and you'll be given the opportunity to take on new tasks to challenge yourself.
What you'll need
You'll need to have achieved or be on track for a pass grade or above in an undergraduate degree in any subject. We determine whether you're on course to pass based on the grades you achieved in your last completed year of academic study. The subject of your degree is not important; however, you'll need to demonstrate a passion for a career in technology and how organisations use it.
When to apply
Once you have submitted your application you'll have seven days to complete the online test, this is the first stage of our recruitment process.
Assessment centres for this role will take place between 18 December 2023 - 28 January 2024 or 19 February - 4 March 2024. We expect to be able to give you at least a week's notice to attend.
Applications for this role may close early should we receive a high volume of interest so we recommend prompt application to avoid disappointment.
