Key role in supporting one of the businesses main entities in the production of Management Accounts, Budgeting, Forecasts and other adhoc MI.

Our client is a PE backed, services business. They are experiencing strong year on year growth and at a critical part in their development plan.

Description

• Monthly production of the Management Accounts
• Management of the Financial Sub-Ledgers, including issue resolution
• Monthly analysis of working capital and cashflow
• Insightful analysis and commercial support to the SLT
• Advising on the financial implications of business decisions
• Preparing the annual budget, rolling monthly and weekly cash flow forecast
• Implementation of robust financial controls
• Reconcile balance sheet control accounts and maintain a scorecard to demonstrate a strong control environment
• Standardising/aligning processes and procedures with other Group companies as part of a Group Finance project

Profile

• ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified accountant
• Experience in preparing management accounts
• Experience of completing analysis to inform business decisions
• Examples of having improved the financial control environment
• Good communication skills
• Continuous improvement mindset
• Experience of Sage 200 desirable
