Senior Accountant, Accounting & Tax Compliance, Shanghai

Job Description

Some of the things you’ll be doing:

• Preparation and review of monthly financial statements and management reports in a timely manner;
• Preparation and review of monthly payroll;
• Completing monthly and quarterly tax filling;
• As a contact in charge in client relationships to enhance client experience;
• Liaising with clients’ auditors for internal and external audit;
• Daily cash/bank works, including money receiving and payment and other treasury related works;
• Payments and receipts reconciliation with bank statement, and preparing bank reconciliation on a regular basis;
• Review invoice issued to client and handling the invoice verification on a regular basis;
• Efficient and effective communications with clients;
• Maintain and enhance good and stable relationships with clients and local authorities;
• Assist leader to manage service team;
• Involving in any other ad-hoc duties as assigned.

What technical skills, experience, and qualifications do you need?

• Bachelor’s degree in accountancy or related discipline;
• 5-8 years of accounting experience, in MNC or consulting firms preferable;
• Good command of both spoken and written English
• Familiar with Kingdee system and Microsoft Office
• Team player with good communication, interpersonal and client servicing skills
• Able to work under pressure and tight deadlines

Preferred Qualifications:

• CET-6 or equivalent level;
• Junior Accounting Professional Qualification;
• ACCA, CPA, CMA preferable.
