For our client we are looking for an experienced FP&A Manager at their HQ. Would you enjoy the challenge of being responsible for the monthly performance controlling and forecasting process, cost controlling for all Headquarters Cost Centres and the annual Budget and Planning process?

Description

  • Act as the gate-keeper for the management reporting, budget / planning and forecast processes of the Group, including Group level modelling
  • Responsible for preparation of regular Executive Committee and Board presentations
  • Ensure quality reporting of consolidated monthly figures, in close co-ordination with Group Accounting team
  • Support HGC to set Group targets and distribution to the Divisions
  • Supervise team responsible for Headquarters Cost Center controlling and Group wide functional cost controlling
  • Supervise and further develop a high performing Group controlling team
  • Support Net Working Capital improvement measures and monitoring
  • Develop / support training on controlling issues
  • Regular interface with Divisional controllers and Divisional CFOs
  • Identify improvement potential in main KPI's and propose possible actions
  • Represent the Group in all areas of controlling and operational excellence
  • Owner of Group management reporting system, reports and data
  • Suggest and implement measures to make controlling process more efficient
  • Support of functional leaders in financial topics and modelling
  • Ad-Hoc analysis on finance/operational excellence topics

Profile

  • Applicants without swiss working permit will not be considered
  • Degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration
  • Minimum 8 - 10 years of experience in Finance & Controlling
  • Industry experience in a similar HQ role in a global manufacturing company is mandatory
  • Good practical knowledge of IFRS accounting principles
  • Experience in consolidation and reporting
  • Experience in driving operational excellence initiatives
  • Excellent understanding of integrated ERP systems, preferably SAP and/or MS Dynamics
  • Proven ability to quickly understand a business and apply strong analytic skills to focus on business drivers
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, influencing and presentation skills
  • Proven ability to prioritize responsibilities
  • Demonstrated project management skills
  • Ability to manage teams in a high performance organization, providing support to a variety of business areas
  • Pro-active and self-motivated mindset
