Job summary

We have an exciting opportunity for an exceptional individual to join Dorset HealthCare NHS University Trust as a Senior Management Accountant

The successful candidate will be a qualified accountant, with excellent IT skills, good negotiation and communication skills and confidence to influence senior managers and clinicians.

The ideal candidate will need to have good analytical skills, experience of budgetary controls and ideally experience of dealing with Medical budgets.

We are looking for a proactive individual to develop excellent working relationships with a wide range of professionals to help in our best quality best value program

You will be based at Sentinel House in Poole with free on-site parking and a work pattern that is flexible with a mix of office and home working.

Main duties of the job

To produce robust monthly processes and reporting for responsible business areas, ensuring that appropriate financial controls are in place and maintained

Provide Customer focused management accounting service which actively makes the connection between delivery and achieving the wider Trust aims.

To provide timely, accurate and relevant financial advice, support and information to budget managers and service directors, including support to the Finance Business Partner
