Objective of job
• Business analysis to bridge the gap between IT and business partners
• Lead in end to end IT contracting between Mercedes-Benz and Joint ventures
• Continuously optimize the IT contract management process with Joint Venture IT department
• Continuously support headquarters IT in optimizing application charging model and cost efficiency
• Continuously digitalize contracting process
• Team procurement management
• Team documentation management
• Joint venture account management
• Mercedes-Benz applications service operation management in Joint ventures
• Provide counsel to Senior Management in the negotiations

Job designation:

1 IT Contract Management
• Lead end to end Contract Management within Joint Ventures
• Organize and host alignment meetings of legal, tax, business departments, IT departments from both Headquarters and Joint Ventures
• Take ownership in price negotiation and cost optimization. Lead in cost calculations with consideration of tax and mark-up
• Proactive and capable in management briefing and providing transparency to management
• Proactive and capable in conflict management
• Responsible for contract sign-off
• Manage service level agreements with Mercedes-Benz IT and Joint Venture IT
• Close monitoring of provided services/required licenses for invoicing and payment
• Proactive in cultivating good working environment with Joint Venture
• Be responsible for clear overview and close tracking on the status of each contract and agreement
• Propose and take initiatives on time efficiency and cost efficiency in area of work
• SARC (Service Agreement Responsible for China) support for Joint Ventures
• Product owner of Demand and Contract Management SharePoint. Be passionate in further digitalizing contracting work
• Ensure the necessary competencies in leading the contracting, the risk review, and the negotiation planning and authorization processes align with Mercedes-Benz principles
• Provide purpose driven leadership in the formation of various contracts, associated documentation, and service agreements

2 Manufacture Service Delivery and Service Operation Management
• Lead annual support service related Service Description & Support Model alignment status between service provider in Headquarters side and the joint venture in China
• Make sure Service Description & Support Model could be aligned on time
• Close monitoring on Service Delivery from Mercedes-Benz to Joint Ventures, give necessary comments, optimizing the process, monitoring the quality and follow up on acceptance documents
• Support Mercedes-Benz IT and Joint Venture IT in incident management
• Proactively in organizing relevant stakeholders for problem solving and propose solutions
• Maintain good collaboration with Headquarters IT, Joint Venture IT and Joint Venture business

3 Joint Venture account management
• Pre-check all requests from Joint Venture IT
• Validate all requests from Joint Venture IT and create Joint Venture ID
• Responsible for "JV-ID_List" maintenance
• Single Point of contact from Mercedes-Benz with regards to Application Account
• Support Joint Venture ID Renewal Process
• Take initiatives in optimize Joint Venture ID management
• Take compliance requirements into consideration
• Be responsible for all documentation work and traceability
• General user access management responsible in the team

4 Procurement and documentation
• Internal service agreement management, including drafting, alignment, sign-off and payment etc
• External supplier contract management, including drafting, alignment, sign-off and payment etc
• Take initiatives in cost efficiency and supplier management
• Keep company regulations and integrity in mind when dealing with suppliers
• Team documentation management, including T-folder, confluence management, without risk, data security issue or compliance issue
• Keep good collaboration within the team and across team

Qualifications

Qualification

Education
• Bachelor degree in Business Administration or equivalent, major in law, trade, commercial preferred
Experience
• Service operation experience in car manufacture industry, preferable in Mercedes-Benz joint ventures
• Proficient in MS Office to do documentation and make presentation to high level management
• Data analytics skillset, Power BI knowhow is preferable
• Good commercial knowledge and background
• Very strong communication skills and team work capability
• Proven ability to drive initiatives in cross-functional and international environments

• Very good communication and negotiation skills and cross-cultural competence
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are required to develop creative solutions to complex business
relationships
• Ability to prioritize and work under tight deadlines and pressure, attention to details
• Flexibility and resilience, including ability to adapt to changing/uncertain or ambiguous conditions
• Ability to comprehend, organize and present complex issues independently
• Fluent verbal and oral Chinese and English skills
• German is preferable
