Job Description & Summary

A career in our Capital Projects and Infrastructure practice, within Priority Services, will provide you with the opportunity to help organisations prepare for tomorrow by taking advantage of infrastructure sustainability trends, bridging the gap between academic education and practical work experience by developing market ready professionals, and working to address challenges related to food safety and quality management where population and demand continues to increase.

We help our clients plan, finance, manage, and deliver large scale capital and infrastructure projects. As part of the team, you’ll work with our clients throughout the full lifecycle of a infrastructure project by combining our engineering, technology, sector, and financial expertise to help our clients make a difference for tomorrow.

Responsibilities:

As a Senior Associate you will help our clients plan, finance, manage, and deliver large scale capital and infrastructure projects. As part of the team, you’ll work with our clients throughout the full lifecycle of an infrastructure project by combining our engineering, technology, sector, and financial expertise to help our clients make a difference for tomorrow. 

Responsibilities Includes:

  • Procurement and transaction advisory
  • Drafting procurement documents and schedules
  • Procurement documents review and precedent project benchmarking
  • Policy advisory focused on federal and provincial government clients
  • Business case preparation
  • Risk analysis and quantification
  • Financial analysis of project finance structures, instruments, and pricing
  • Financial and general excel modeling
  • Writing reports and memos
  • Preparing power-point presentations
  • Infrastructure sector and financial market research
  • Drafting research and industry papers
  • Proposal writing and business development

Requirements:

  • Completion of a University degree in Commerce, Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Engineering, Law or a related discipline
  • MBA or a professional designation such as CFA or CPA is an asset
  • Solid financial and general excel modeling skills
  • 3-5 years of industry experience (Natural Resources, Transportation, and/or Power & Utilities)
  • Excellent communication and writing skills in English (Arabic would be an advantage)
  • Excellent business writing skills and oral communication skill
  • Infrastructure sector
  • Public-Private Partnerships and their financing structures
  • Procurement models (traditional, alternative, innovative)
  • Procurement documents (RFQ, RFP, and Project Agreements)
