Client Details

We are partnered with a Fortune Global 500 corporate with major manufacturing presence in Shanghai. The Finance and Tax team for their Asia Pacific region is based in Pudong, Shanghai. An opportunity has arisen for an immediately available candidate to step into the shoes of their existing tax Supervisor for the APAC region.

Description

Reporting to the Tax Director and working with a specialist tax team based in Shanghai, you will predominantly be responsible for:

• Ensuring compliance
• Providing monthly tax filling reports and cooperating with external auditors
• Internal reporting, Provide assistance in review of tax provisions in accordance to US GAAP guidelines
• Tax Consulting: Supporting HQ in major tax project planning and tax audits

Profile

Working with a highly capable team, we are looking for a proactive candidate with strong technical skills. You will bring the following skills and experience to the table:

• Ideal but not an absolute necessity: 3+ years Tax experience in a Big 4 firm or MNC corporate in-house tax experience
• Strong communication skills is a must
• Ability to exercise a high degree of independent and professional judgement in performing tax reviews
• International technical tax skills would be an advantage although you will be supported by external vendors
• Proactive, autonomous approach to work
