Qualifications
Responsible for preparing tax products of a sensitive/complex nature to ensure compliance with tax laws and reporting requirements within a specific area. Assists in reviewing work of others, training and control reporting as needed. Provides technical expertise in tax law and regulations. Handles complex taxation needs for more complicated client/partner relationships. Responds to internal/external inquiries on taxation requests.
- Prepare tax products of a sensitive/complex nature to comply with tax laws and reporting requirements within a specific area.
- Reviews work of others, provides training and control reporting as needed.
- Provides technical expertise in tax law and regulations.
- Communicates with clients and/or partners regarding tax filings, withholding, deductions, exemptions, and other tax questions.
- Responds to internal/external inquiries from auditors, insurance companies, federal and state tax authorities, accountants, attorneys, and partners on taxation issues.6. Works on various software systems within a group.
- 2-3 years of related tax experience. Knowledge of one or more specific tax areas
