Description

• High profile role in the business working directly with senior management
• The Senior Business Controller reports the financial and operational performance of the business to relevant stakeholders in a clear and commercial focused way
• Supports and works closely with others to maximise profitability and reduce business risk
• Monitors, measures & actions profitability, productivity & key operational KPI's.
• Balance sheet risk & opportunity management
• Preparation of operational and head office function business cases
• Line manager to one direct report
• Deputises for Head of Controlling in their absence. This includes attendance at month end SMT calls, contributing to key initiatives & smooth running of the wider function.
• Plans, coordinates and rolls out key training where it is required
• Works closely with Sales to identify impact of new business wins / losses & accurately forecasts impact of pipeline conversion
• Works as an adviser for Business Operations on behalf of finance to drive standard optimised best practices.
• Coordinates Planning and Forecasting processes
• Proactively identifies trends, opportunities, risks by staying close to the business

Profile

To be considered you will be a qualified accountant with relevant, FP&A/commercial finance experience
