Position Overview:
The Audit Partner Designate will play a foundational role in establishing, leading, and growing our new audit department. This is a unique opportunity for a seasoned professional with a track record of excellence in audit, to shape and guide the strategic direction of the audit function within our firm.
Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Development: Design and implement a strategic plan for the new audit department, ensuring alignment with the company’s overall goals and objectives.

Team Leadership: Hire, train, and mentor a high-performing audit team, fostering a culture of excellence, continuous learning, and integrity.

Client Management: Build and maintain relationships with clients, ensuring their needs are met with impeccable service. Anticipate and address potential challenges, and provide strategic audit-related insights.

Operational Oversight: Ensure the efficient execution of audit assignments, compliance with relevant regulations, and the maintenance of the highest professional standards.

Business Development: Work collaboratively with other departments and partners to identify and act on new business opportunities, ensuring the sustainable growth of the audit function.

Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices to ensure the audit department remains at the forefront of excellence.
Qualifications:

Recognised audit qualification and RI (Responsible Individual) status.

Substantial UK-based audit experience, preferably in a leadership or senior role.

Proven track record of establishing or growing an audit department will be a distinct advantage.

Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
