This role exists to look after the day-to-day activities of two head office entities (as well as transaction booking of a third Swiss procurement company), monthly submission of their results and support on the analysis of the Group consolidation. There is the prospect of career progression within the Group.
Our client is an established FMCG business based in West London, looking to recruit a management accountant into their established finance team.
The key responsibilities of the role include:
. Process all monthly transactions (purchase and sales ledger, payments etc)
. Complete month end close and submission into Group consolidation software o Variance analysis versus budget
. Cost Centre Reporting - liaise with cost centre heads providing actual vs budget comparison each month
. Forecasting (Quarterly) and Budgeting, working with cost centre head
.Payroll forecasting o Monthly cash flow forecasting o Ad-hoc requests · Payroll o New employee administration - collect records for compliance purposes o Communicate any changes to RSM (outsourced payroll provider) e.g. new starters
.Agree monthly calculations of payroll provided by RSM by re performing and query any variances o Ensure payroll is approved each month by CFO and HR Director o Approve BACS payments for salaries and taxes to HMRC on RSM portal
. Set up salary payments for ex-pats in RBS
. Liaise with HMRC/other relevant parties e.g. PAYE Settlement Agreement
· Year end procedures including liaising with auditors and dealing with audit queries and aid preparation of statutory accounts.
