Leading Accountant with SAP knowledge

Key responsibilities:

• display according to the received documentation transactions for the purchase of goods and services in accounting and tax records
• display according to the received documentation transactions for the purchase of fixed assets in accounting and tax records
• display of transactions for the purchase of goods from non-residents according to the received invoices in accounting and tax records, including VAT during customs clearance of goods and other payments (in the SAP FI module)
• display of primary documents and settlements with suppliers of marketing and advertising services related to the promotion of goods
• display of primary documents and settlements with suppliers on the basis of Civil-law contracts
• entry expenses of future periods in accounting and tax records
• settlements with employees (expense reports) - verification of the correctness of primary documents, accounting and tax accounting and control of the timeliness of settlements, including the use of corporate cards
• creating a Payment Offer for payment to suppliers in SAP, checking the compliance of the Payment Offer with contractual payment terms and internal company policies
• maintaining creditors’ master data (creating creditors in the system, making changes to creditor data and confirming bank details, etc.)
• formation of a tax credit for the purchase of goods and services, verification, registration (confirmation) in the unified register of tax invoices through the M.E.Doc program
• control of settlements with suppliers, including reconciliation of mutual settlements with counterparties
• conducting an inventory of accounts payables for settlements with suppliers and employees, preparation, participation and conducting the results of the annual settlement inventory
• provision of expenses’ information for the preparation of the Income Tax Declaration, annual audit, tax audits, etc.
• optimization of business processes by updating existing and developing new internal instructions and business operations in accordance with international IFRS standards and tax legislation

What are we expecting from you:

• To be a sociable, organized and open-minded person, with passion for accounting
• University education attained with economical/accounting specialization
• At least 3 years of experience at the similar position, expense accounting knowledge will be an advantage
• Strong knowledge of tax accounting and IFRS
• Teamwork player
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to execute tasks within specified deadlines
• Result oriented, proactive approach, attention to details
• Knowledge of SAP is a must
• Knowledge of English at pre-intermediate / intermediate level; Ukrainian is a must
• High level of computer literacy, knowledge and strong knowledge of office tools (Excel, Word, other MS office tools)
• Problem solving skills
