Description

Key responsibilities of the Finance Business Partner include:

  • Provide financial analysis, reports and insight into the day to day activities & strategic tasks
  • Supporting business initiatives, i.e. business cases, models, scenarios & projections
  • Financial modelling and investment decision support to drive business change
  • Business partner with Sales team with full responsibility for high value quotations accuracy & verifying business risks
  • Prepare monthly management reports with analysis on performance vs. forecast/budget
  • Ensuring both internal and external customers' requirements are met
  • Ensuring controls are in place to safeguard the accuracy of financial data for projects
  • Support on annual budget, quarterly forecast processes and month-end processes
  • Developing activity-based costing and reporting

Profile

The successful Finance Business Partner will be:

  • Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA)
  • Experience of financial budgeting, forecasting and planning, highly numerate with the ability to produce accurate reporting/presentations on time and free of errors
  • A proven track record of communicating and challenging senior leaders
  • Extensive knowledge of P&L accounting with an analytical mindset
  • Ability to work under pressure and stick to tight deadlines, self-motivated and able to time manage own workload with conflicting priorities
  • Intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Excel - including Pivot tables, Vlookups, Sumifs
  • Experience in using accounting systems and/or planning tools
