A fantastic leadership position within a renowned banking brand. Being 3 rd line of defence, but the heart of the Bank, this role will be looking at continuous improvement within Group Audit. This position will continue to uphold stakeholder expectations while facing into emerging risks and identifying areas for remediation. This position will mainly focus on its products and how they operate both domestically and internationally. Additionally this is a great opportunity for building a fulfilling career and more importantly, through a prominent Bank.
Responsibilities:
Analyse and assist in the audit process of its products both domestically and internationally
Assist in audit planning, including risks and controls for testing
Test each design and use data analytics to provide insight
Identify and analyse any audit issues and management action plans
Prepare and discuss audit reports on a quarterly basis
Manage junior staff
Ad hoc audit duties and strategic initiatives
A successful candidate will have the follow:
Degree in Accounting/Finance or equivalent
5+ years' experience in internal audit or external audit
Background within the Financial Services industry
CA, IIA or CPA qualified
Excellent communication and relationship skills
Critical thinker, analytical and attention to detail
