Meridian Recruitment at working with a well-established social housing company who are looking for 2 Assistant Management Accountants to join two locations:
  • Poole
  • Andover, Hampshire
Person Specification:
  • Studying towards AAT (or other) qualification, desirable
  • Experience of working in a finance department or a medium sized organisation
  • Experience in management accounts and budgets, desirable
  • Understand the basic principles or double entry accounting
  • Proficient in all Microsoft products
  • Competent in the use of spreadsheets
  • Ability to analyse, interpret and present information
This role can be suitable for someone of an entry level standard or someone with proven experience in a similar role.
Main duties (not limited to):
  • Maintaining a good level of technical accounting knowledge
  • Hitting reporting deadlines
  • Balance sheet reconciliations
  • Journal processing
  • Reporting and Analysis
Assisting with:
  • Monthly management and annual statutory accounts
  • Preparation of budgets and forecasts
  • Financial reports
Working hours: Monday to Friday 8:30-17:00
Location: Poole or Andover
