Assistant Management Accountant duties and responsibilities;

• Accruals and Prepayments
• Month end Processes
• Internal Controls
• Balance sheet Reconciliations and Reviews
• Revenue Analysis and Reconciliation
• Internal Reporting
• VAT returns
• National Statistics Returns
• Management Reporting
• Process Improvement
• Change Management
• Reconciliation of Bank Accounts
• Reconciliation cash books to bank statements and to the trial balance
• Paying in cheques to the bank

Profile

Experience and character requirements:

• Experience assisting with the production of month end management accounts including accruals, prepayments and journals
• AAT qualified/finalist or ACCA/CIMA studier
• Organised and detail orientated individual
• Proactive and commercial outlook is required
• Excel to include pivot tables and vlookups
• SAP experience is desirable but any other accounting software with the right ability to pick new systems would do
